The Children’s Sunday School for pre-k through fifth grade meet at 10:15 AM. They go to their classrooms for the days Bible story. We use Faith Weavers curriculum. Call the church office for a calendar.

Children’s Ministry Events:

  • Bibles received by third graders in October
  • Fourth Grade communion on May 4, 2008
  • Christmas Program
  • Palm Parade on March 16, 2008
  • Vacaton Bible School, Beach party theme,August 4-7
  • Fall fest
  • Baptism and birthday recognition
  • These events are coordinated by the St. Luke UMC Children’s Ministry Team.

Other Children’s Ministries

Beginnings—Welcome to the Cradle Role program at St. Luke UMC. These materials mailed periodically to expecting parents and children through age 3 years are designed to welcome the youngest members of our church family and provide resources to help with the spiritual growth of the new child. New parents are often looking for help in directing their infant’s earliest religious training; hopefully this program will help. If you are eligible for mailings call the church office.

Great Kids—This is a Family focused education for parents including child care activities. It provides a venue for parents to meet on an ongoing basis. Offers social support for both parents and kids such as the following:

  • Mom’s time Out – social activities
  • Experts in health and family as guest presenters
  • Summer playground gatherings for moms and children
Cost is $25 for each of 3 sessions consisting of 5 meetings. (If registering for all three sessions the price is reduced to $70).

Wisconsin UM Church Camps—Look to United Methodist Summer Camps for your child's camp experience. Canoeing, sailing, biking, Narnia, horseback riding, to fishing are just a few of the many camp themes to choose from. There is plenty of good news to share with all in the midst of God’s creation. St. Luke provides scholarships for children of members. There are four camps available with many different activities:
