About Our Pastor

Pastor Ruth came to St Luke on July 1, 2024. Ruth grew up in Wisconsin, in the La Crosse area, and spent her formative years on the Mississippi river and the bluffs. After high school, she headed south to the University of Alabama where she met her wife Grace, and spent a few years working in campus ministry and youth missions. After college, she went to Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta. In Atlanta, she served in a variety of ministry settings including the Georgia Department of Community Supervision, Neighborhood Church, and FCS Ministries (where she worked primarily with middle school students) in South Atlanta.

Pastor Ruth brings with her a passion for revitalizing congregations, community and place based missions, and intergenerational ministries. In her free time, she coaches the Sheboygan County Composite Cycling team, rides her bike as much as possible, and enjoys spending time with her wife and two cats (pictured on the left). She has grown to love Sheboygan, and while her heart is on the Mississippi river, she has become quite the Lake Michigan beach bum these days.
