Sunday Morning Coffee Hour
Everyone is welcome!
The Coffee Hour at St. Luke Church provides an opportunity for fellowship and conversation and provides an opportunity to offer hospitality to our guests. The Coffee Hour begins immediately after the 9:00 am service on Sunday and takes place in the church parlor. Coffee hour usually lasts about 45 minutes.
Hosts
We are always looking for coffee hour hosts. Any individual, couple, family, group of friends, or church ministry is invited to host. The responsibilities of being a host include providing the snack, setting up before the appointed time, hosting the event and cleaning up after. The coffee is provided by the church and is made in advance. Coffee hour hosts prepare the juice which is also provided by the church. Snacks can be as simple as cookies, fruit and veggies.
Sponsors
If you enjoy attending the coffee hour but don’t wish to host you can support this ministry by sponsoring a coffee hour. Sponsoring can be as simple as providing funds to cover the cost of snacks or purchasing snacks and asking someone else to host the event. You can sponsor a coffee hour by placing your donation in the donation box during the coffee hour; you can place your donation in an envelope and place it in the offering on Sunday or you can deliver your donation to the church office.
Coffee hour hosts and or sponsors will be announced in the church bulletin.
